ABOUT US
We are a small committed team of film-makers, who work in video because we love what we do. Martin and Cameron, are fundamental to the team, and we bring in freelancers with whom we have worked before, to carry out specialist tasks.
We usually work with small groups, companies, individuals, and the occasional large corporate such as Waitrose or Imperial College. Sorry, but we don't do weddings.
SO HOW DO WE WORK?
There are 4 phases to making a great video for you, pre-production, production, post-production, and release. We will help you through the 4 processes, and the whole experience will be enjoyable and productive.
Pre-Production
This includes all the processes prior to picking up a camera and going to a location. We will help you to script the film, select the locations, chose the props that will be required, and chose a style for the film. We can also help you structure the film into easily manageable chunks, and to help you select the people who will take part in front of the camera.
Production
This is the part of the process whch people enjoy the most - getting in front of the camera and indulging in amateur dramatics, or satisfying the long-felt urge to be the next Stephen Spielberg. Often, however, films will not include people, simply products and text. At the end of the day this is your film and together we will make a video with which we can both be justifiably proud. We will operate cameras, customise lighting, advise any actors on their delivery, and deal with all the minutiae of making the film.
Post-Production
Having shot all we need (and more) we will go back to the studio and edit what can be many hours of footage into a coherent film which conveys your message to the viewer, in the manner which you desire. We will add any music, voiceover, or still images that you need, and upload it to the internet. This will enable you to view the film and come back to us with any modifications. We then provide you with a link to the film on the internet, and/or on memory stick. All our videos comply with our CAT™ philosophy, in being Creative, Affordable, and Targeted.
Release
When you are happy with the final cut, we will upload the film to YouTube or Vimeo, where it can be embedded in your website, and found by search engines. We can also provide you with the film on memory stick. If you tell us in advance, we can format the video so that you can change the version on your website, without recourse to your web designer.
Ultimately, you will end up with a video that will engage your viewers, and show you products and company in a the very best light.
